Real repairs from our Lake Park shop floor
This gallery shows real vehicles repaired at All Star Auto Repair, 825 15th St #7 in Lake Park, Florida. The photos are organized into folders by vehicle brand, so you can quickly find repairs on cars like yours. Open a folder to see damage before repair, vehicles in primer, masking in the paint area, and finished cars ready to go home. We add new photos regularly as vehicles move through the shop.
A gallery is one of the best ways to judge a body shop. Words are easy; finished work is proof. Look closely at panel gaps, paint gloss, color match between panels, and how cleanly trim and lights have been reinstalled. Those details tell you more about a shop than any advertisement. If you like what you see, call (561) 890-7999 or send a free estimate request.

Understanding what you are seeing
Body repair has several stages, and our gallery includes photos from each of them.
Damage before repair
Before photos show the damage as it arrived: dented doors, cracked bumpers, crushed fenders, scraped quarter panels. These photos show where the repair started and how far it came.
Body work in progress
Photos of vehicles with panels removed, dents being worked, or filler being shaped show the craftsmanship behind a repair. Much of a body shop’s most important work happens at this stage, long before paint.
Primer and preparation
Gray or white primer on a panel means it has been repaired and is being prepared for paint. Primer fills fine sanding marks and creates a uniform surface. Learn more about preparation on our auto body and paint page.
Masking
Vehicles covered in paper and plastic with tape outlines are masked for paint. Masking protects glass, trim, wheels and areas that are not being painted. Careful masking is the difference between clean edges and overspray.
Finished vehicles
After photos show the completed repair with paint cured, parts reinstalled and the vehicle cleaned. Compare these with the before photos to see the transformation.
Brands in our gallery
Our current folders include Toyota, Ford, Cadillac, Dodge, Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Porsche, Tesla, Lexus, BMW, Chevrolet/GMC and a Shop Work folder for repairs where the brand is not visible in the photo. Here is a quick look at what each brand brings to the shop.
Toyota
Toyota is one of the most popular brands on Palm Beach County roads, from the Camry and Corolla to the RAV4, 4Runner, Tacoma and Tundra. Our Toyota folder includes SUV and sedan repairs, front-end collision damage, and quarter-panel work in primer.
Ford
Ford trucks are everywhere in Florida. Our Ford folder features F-150 pickups before and after repair. Many recent F-150s use aluminum body panels, which require specific repair methods. See our collision repair page for more.
Cadillac
Cadillac’s Escalade is a large, heavy luxury SUV with big body panels where every wave in a reflection shows. Our Cadillac folder includes Escalade repairs and door damage close-ups.
Dodge
Dodge Durango SUVs and Charger sedans are popular in South Florida. Our Dodge folder includes a red Durango with finished bodywork and paint.
Mercedes-Benz
Mercedes-Benz vehicles have tight panel gaps and deep, glossy finishes that demand precise work. Our Mercedes folder includes front-end repair on a white SUV.
Honda
The Honda CR-V, Civic, Accord and Pilot are daily drivers for many local families. Our Honda folder shows a vehicle in body preparation.
Porsche
Porsche owners expect perfection. Our Porsche folder includes a silver convertible.
Tesla
Electric vehicles like Tesla require attention to high-voltage safety and specific repair procedures. Our Tesla folder includes a dark sedan.
Lexus
Lexus vehicles are known for quality finishes. Our Lexus folder includes a white sedan. White and pearl finishes are among the most challenging to match, and blending is essential.
BMW
BMW sedans and SUVs have precise panel fitment and sophisticated sensor systems. Our BMW folder includes a black sedan. Black paint shows every flaw, so preparation and finishing matter.
Chevrolet and GMC
Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks, along with Tahoe, Suburban and Yukon SUVs, are common in our shop. Our Chevrolet/GMC folder shows a truck masked for paint.
Shop Work
Some photos focus on a repair where the brand is not visible, such as a door panel in primer. These go in the Shop Work folder.
Why we organize by brand
Drivers often want to know whether a shop has experience with their specific vehicle. Organizing by brand makes that easy. It also shows the variety of vehicles we work on every week, from work trucks to luxury cars and EVs.
What to look for in any body shop gallery
Use these tips to evaluate our gallery and any other shop’s work.
- Reflections. Look at how light reflects across repaired panels. Straight, unbroken reflections mean the panel is straight.
- Color match. Compare the repaired panel with adjacent panels. They should look like the same color from multiple angles.
- Panel gaps. Gaps between doors, fenders, hood and bumper should be even.
- Gloss. Repaired areas should have the same shine as the rest of the vehicle.
- Edges. Look for clean edges around trim, rubber seals and glass, with no overspray.
- Real photos. Real shop photos with real backgrounds are more trustworthy than stock images.
Before and after: the process behind the photos
Every finished vehicle in this gallery went through the same basic process. First we inspected the vehicle and wrote a detailed estimate. Next, the damaged area was disassembled to look for hidden damage. Body technicians repaired or replaced panels and restored body lines. Prep technicians sanded, primed and masked. Painters matched color and applied base coat and clear coat, blending into adjacent panels. Finally, the vehicle was reassembled, inspected and cleaned. You can read the full process on our collision repair page.
Paint jobs in the gallery
Several photos show vehicles masked and ready for paint. Paint work can be a single panel, several panels, or a full vehicle. Florida sun is hard on paint, and faded or peeling clear coat is one of the most common reasons drivers come to us for a paint job.
Bumper repairs in the gallery
Bumpers take the most hits of any part of a vehicle, and many of the repairs in our gallery involve bumper work. Learn when a bumper can be repaired instead of replaced on our bumper repair page and in our blog post on cracked bumper repair.
Luxury and European vehicles
Our gallery includes Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Lexus and Cadillac repairs. Luxury vehicles often feature complex paint colors, aluminum components, and advanced sensor systems. They require careful handling and attention to detail.
Trucks and SUVs
Florida drivers love trucks and SUVs. Large panels on trucks and SUVs make body work and paint quality especially visible. Our Ford, Toyota, Cadillac, Dodge and Chevrolet/GMC folders include several examples.
Electric vehicles
Electric vehicles are increasingly common in Palm Beach County. Body repair on EVs involves the same craftsmanship as any vehicle, with additional safety considerations for high-voltage systems.

A closer look at finish quality
Good paint work is judged in different lighting. In direct Florida sun, metallic flake and pearl effects show clearly. In shade, color differences between panels can become more obvious. Under shop lights, texture and dust nibs stand out. That is why we check every repair under several lighting conditions before delivery. When you visit, we invite you to look at your vehicle outside in daylight.
Why photos matter to us
Photographing repairs is part of our process. Photos document damage for insurance, record hidden damage found during teardown, and show the steps of the repair. They also help us train team members and maintain standards. Sharing them in this gallery lets you see our work honestly.

Behind the photos: what each stage really involves
Looking at a before and after photo, it is easy to forget how much happens in between. Here is a closer look at the work behind the pictures in our folders.
Documenting the arrival
Every vehicle is photographed when it arrives. These photos record existing damage, protect both the customer and the shop, and give insurers a clear record. Many of the “before” photos in our gallery started as arrival documentation.
Teardown
Bumper covers, lights, trim and inner panels are removed to reveal everything the impact affected. It is common to find broken clips, cracked brackets or bent reinforcements that were invisible from outside. Those discoveries are photographed and added to the repair plan.
Metal and plastic repair
Technicians pull dents, reshape panels, repair plastic and replace parts that cannot be saved. On the Toyota 4Runner door in our Toyota folder, for example, the goal is to restore the door’s shape and body lines so reflections run straight again. On bumpers, plastic welding and flexible repair materials restore strength.
Filler and primer
When metal has been reshaped, a thin skim of body filler is often used to perfect the surface. The yellow and gray areas you see on the Shop Work door and the Camry quarter panel show filler and primer being shaped and sanded. This stage is slow and careful, because any imperfection here will show through the final paint.
Masking and paint
Before paint, the vehicle is cleaned and masked. The black truck fender in the Chevrolet/GMC folder shows a vehicle wrapped in plastic with yellow tape lines, ready for color and clear coat. Masking protects everything that should not be painted and helps create crisp edges.
Reassembly and delivery
Once paint has cured, parts are reinstalled, the vehicle is cleaned, and the final photos are taken. The finished Escalade, F-150, Lexus, BMW and Tesla photos show vehicles at this last stage.
Colors that challenge painters
Our gallery happens to include some of the most demanding colors in the industry. Solid black, like the Escalade and BMW, reveals every wave in a panel. Pearl white, like the Lexus and Camry, often uses a tri-coat process that is difficult to blend. Deep metallic blue, like the Ford F-150, depends heavily on spray technique for flake orientation. Metallic red, like the Durango, can shift in tone between sunlight and shade. Seeing these colors finished well is a good indicator of a shop’s paint skill. Read more in our article on how paint color matching works.
Protecting customer privacy
We blur or avoid license plates and never publish customer names or personal information in our gallery. If you see your vehicle and would prefer it not be shown, contact us and we will remove it.
Suggest a brand folder
If you do not see your vehicle’s brand yet, it simply means we have not photographed a recent repair for it. As we add photos, new folders appear. Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, Jeep, Ram, Subaru, Volkswagen and Audi are all common in our shop and may be added soon.
Why a brand-organized gallery helps you
Owners often worry whether a shop knows their particular vehicle. A Tesla owner wants to know the shop understands EV precautions. A Porsche owner wants to see careful work on a sports car. A truck owner wants to see big panels finished straight. Organizing our photos by brand lets you jump straight to vehicles like yours and judge the work for yourself, without scrolling through dozens of unrelated pictures.
Tips for photographing your own damage
If you plan to send us photos, borrow a few techniques from our gallery. Shoot in even daylight rather than harsh midday sun. Take one wide photo that shows the whole side of the vehicle, then medium and close-up shots of the damage. Angle the camera slightly so reflections reveal dents. Send them to allstarrepair561@gmail.com with your vehicle’s year, make and model.
What makes these repairs different
Every folder in this gallery tells a small story. The Toyota 4Runner arrived with a deep crease across the door and fender, the kind of damage that makes owners wonder whether the panel can ever look right again. The Ford F-150 came in with a pushed-in front bumper and fender after a front-end hit. The Camry arrived on the side of a highway with its nose crushed. Each one left with straight panels, matching paint and parts fitted correctly. The details you see in these photos, like crisp reflections along the doors and even gaps around the lights, are the result of patient work at every stage.
Seeing is believing
We encourage every potential customer to look closely at these photos and at the vehicles in our shop. If you visit during business hours, ask to see vehicles in progress. There is no better way to understand how a shop works than to see repairs underway.
